Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are used to replace teeth when there are no teeth remaining.  Making a quality complete set of dentures can take an average of 5 appointments. Each patient has unique ethetic requirements; each patient has a unique shape of their oral tissue and relationship of upper and lower jaws. 

After insertion of the new denture, it will take time to get used to it.  New dentures always need a few adjustments, and it takes time to learn how to eat, speak, and wear your new dentures, especially the lower one.  The lower denture never fits tight and does not have 'suction' like an upper one.  You do not chew with your denture as you would with your natural teeth.
